At the turn of the XVII – XVIII centuries, the famous royal cook master Vereshchaka created a dish that spread from the royal table throughout the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. It is a hot dish including meat, groats, onions and spices served in bread bowls. The recipe was restored by history researcher Vilius Puronas and cafe “Presto Šiauliai”.
