In the middle of the 19th century, the Tilžė – Mintauja highway was built through the city of Šiauliai, which allowed the culinary legends of the world to reach this city. One of them is the pride of Duke Ernst Biron from Kurzeme, which united the goods of distant Switzerland and the Atlantic. It is a fish dish with a special taste, which gives a feeling of warmth, tenderness and home coziness. The recipe was recreated by travel guide Saulius Stasiūnas and cafe “Presto Šiauliai”.
