A story about antiquity, everyday life, customs, baking daily bread.
In an authentic hut of the early 20th century, you will get acquainted with the symbol of our national culture – the traditional Lithuanian black bread. The hostess, who kindly met you on the doorstep of her house, will sit you down at the table and tell you about sowing, grinding, sourdough and mixing rye. You will learn about the customs and rituals of bread baking; family traditions; get acquainted with old household utensils. Each guest will have a unique opportunity to shape and bake a loaf of bread.
While the bread is being baked, you can enjoy a country feast and visit the Horse Museum.
